PROPOSED ANNUAL PHA PLAN AND HOTMA SIGNIFICANT AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Fulton County Housing Authority will hold a Public Hearing on December 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the community room of the Maple Manor High Rise, 250 South Main Street, Canton, Illinois, to review and receive public comments on the proposed PHA Annual Plan and a Significant Amendment to the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) and the Section 8 Administrative Plan.


The Purpose of this Significant Amendment is to incorporate mandatory policy revisions required by the federal Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA). These policies are being updated to ensure full compliance with the HUD deadline of January 1, 2027. A draft of the changes is available for review during normal business hours (Mon. — Fri., 8:00 am — 4:00 pm) from October 18, 2026, for a minimum of 45 days at the Fulton County Housing Authority central office, located at 250 South Main Street, Canton, Illinois.
